Open Debate on Draft Document on Code of Ethics

The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health would like to open a Public Debate about the attached document on “Code of Ethics”

This Document was developed by Dr. Walid Ammar –General Director of Lebanese Ministry of Public Health following the International Guidelines of WHO & TEPMA.

This draft document was placed on the ministry website since 2011, to seek comments from all relevant stakeholders.

Since then, 2 meetings were held at the Ministry of Public Health on 14 March & 8 July 2014 to review the document with the presence of the following stakeholders:

General Director of Ministry of Health
Lebanese National Bioethics committee representative
Order of Pharmacists
Syndicate of Hospitals
Syndicates of Drug Importers
Lebanese Association for Pharmaceutical Industry (LAPI)
International Pharma Representative
Faculty of Health Sciences at Balamand University
Senior Staff from Ministry of Health

The updated document is now placed at MOPH website with the comments of all stakeholders inserted.
