MoPH Closes a Clinic of Two Non-Lebanese Doctors in Choueifat and Refers Two Pharmacists to the Inspection
 
The Information Office of Deputy Prime Minister Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani issued the following statement:

According to information received by the Ministry of Public Health, a team from the Ministry headed to Dohat Aramoun-Choueifat- El Kobba, and inspected a house of a non-Lebanese physician in the presence of security forces. He was found to practice the profession with his wife, a physician with the same nationality, against law and without holding a permission to work. The Ministry team found expired medical equipment, medicines, baby formula and syringes. They also found out the involvement of two pharmacies in the region in sending expired medicines to sell them.

According to a decision taken by Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani, the clinic has been closed, the dossier has been forwarded to the General Prosecutor and the Pharmacists have been brought to Pharmacy Inspection at the Ministry.
