Hasbani Launched a New Mobile Application that Makes every Citizen a Partner in the Health Control Process
Deputy Prime Minister Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani launched a new mobile application “Ballegh Lalsoha” in collaboration with the Minister of Interior and Municipalities Nouhad El Machnouk, during a ceremony held at the UNESCO palace in the presence of the representative of Minister Machnouk, Khalil Jebara, the Director General of Health Ministry Dr. Walid Ammar, representatives of the Ministries of Agriculture and OMSAR, Heads and members of Municipalities councils and environmental associations.

The ceremony was opened by Miss Estelle Sahyoun. The Director of the Directorate of Prevention Mrs. Joyce Haddad then presented the work procedures undertaken months before the launching of the application, as she highlighted the importance of such an application that aims at improving the quality of services provided to the Ministry of Public Health regarding Food Safety.
Abou Mrad
The Head of E-Health Program Mrs. Lina Abou Mrad introduced the mobile application “Ballegh Lalsoha”. “This is a new application that became readily available for everyone, with the support of Deputy Prime Minister Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani who attaches great importance to the promotion of e-government. This application enables every citizen to become a partner in responsibility in case of any irregularity, by reporting complaints to a working group from the Ministry that verifies the complaint,” Mrad added.

“The Ministry of Public Health has always been interested in the promotion of individual and collective health through the provision of universal and special services in a sustainable healthy environment, according to local and international policies, legislations, programs and partnerships,” Hasbani said in a statement.
“Today we are launching the application “Ballegh Lalsoha” and we focus in our plans on the activation of the preventive role of the Ministry in partnership with all the concerned ministries. We developed this project to make every citizen an essential partner in health control process. “
Hasbani thanked all the attendees, participants, the Moph team and TEDMOB for their hard work toward the success of the project.
At the end of the ceremony, certificates of recognition were handed out to the contributors to the application; Jebara on behalf of the Ministry of Interior, Haddad, Abou Mrad and the representative of TEDMOB Mario El Hachem.
