Since 21 February to 26 March 2020, the total number of positive COVID-19 cases recorded at Rafik Hariri University Hospital, the laboratories of the university hospitals accredited by the Ministry and the listed private laboratories has reached 368; (An additional 35 cases have been confirmed since yesterday).

Two patients who suffered from chronic illness died of coronavirus. One of them was in his 50s and was receiving treatment at Rafik Hariri University Hospital and the second one was in his 70s and was being treated at the Notre Dame de Secours Hospital in Jbeil.

The Ministry of Public Health urges all the citizens to comply with the preventive measures, in particular adherence to home quarantine that has become an individual and social responsibility that every citizen should assume. Any person failing to fully comply with these measures will be exposed to legal prosecution.
