Since February 21 to March 18, 2020, the total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Lebanon has reached 133, including the cases that were diagnosed at Rafik Hariri University Hospital and the other cases reported by the listed University hospitals. (An additional 13 cases have been reported since yesterday)

A patient in his 90s died from coronavirus. His condition was critical and he was suffering from chronic illness.

The Ministry of Public Health is following up on the collection of specimens from all the suspect cases and is checking on all the people who travelled from countries where local cases have been reported and those who came in contact with them. It is also carrying out epidemiological investigation for some cases that were recently diagnosed.

The Ministry of Public Health urges all the citizens to comply with the strict measures taken by the official authorities and stay home, unless absolutely necessary.
