The Ministry of Public Health issued the following statement:

The Ministry of Public Health announces that a new confirmed case of coronavirus was registered in Lebanon, bringing the total to 16. The infected person is a Lebanese woman who has just arrived from the United Kingdom.

In the context of its efforts to control the spread of the virus, the Ministry of Public Health urges all those coming from countries where cases have been registered to comply with the instructions of home-quarantine.
