Minister Hasan and the Chinese Ambassador Followed up on the Developments Regarding the Control of Coronavirus Spread
The Minister of Public Health Dr. Hamad Hasan held a meeting with the Chinese ambassador in Lebanon Wang Kejian during which they discussed the latest developments on the preventive measures against the Coronavirus and ways to develop them.
Minister Hasan reassured that the precautionary measures taken by the Ministry of Public are in conformity with the recommendations of the World Health Organization. He added that the travelers coming from China are quarantined for fifteen days as of the date they left china and for one week if they stayed for more10 days in a third country after they left China.
The Chinese ambassador commended the measures taken by the Ministry of Public Health in Lebanon, noting that the official Chinese delegations to Lebanon are coordinating closely with the Chinese Embassy in Beirut to follow up on the condition of the Chinese people arriving in Lebanon.
