Statement Issued by the MoPH on the nCov-2019 in Lebanon
With reference to the reported 2019-nCoV cases of Lebanese or foreigners who entered the Lebanese territories, the Ministry of Public Health clarifies the following:
- This circulated news is completely baseless and only aims at raising concerns among the citizens.
- The Ministry of Public reiterates that there are no cases of 2019-nCoV in Lebanon by far, and assures that it will announce with full transparency any case that might occur, if found, in Lebanon.
- The Ministry calls upon all media to accurately publish any news. Every person posting or publishing any news shall be held responsible for the accuracy of the information.
