Jabak Announced the Construction of a New Governmental Hospital in Arsal
Minister of Public Health Dr. Jamil Jabak visited Arsal as part of his tour of Governmental facilities in Northern Beqaa, where he was met by Future movement member MP Baker Al-Hojairy, the head of the municipal council Basel Al-Hojairy, mayors and residents.
In a statement, the head of the municipal council Basel Al-Hojairy stressed that this visit was of a great importance and the people in Arsal have fought to remain open to all the country. “I praise the role of Minister Jabak who rises above affiliations and cares about all the citizens without exception. In Arsal, there are one hundred thousand people who are in need of health care services. We hope that Minister Jabak will support the medical centers in Arsal, knowing that we need to build a governmental hospital here.”
MP Hojairy welcomed Minister’s Jabak visit saying that Arsal suffered deprivation due to the recent events. However, we are confident that the health care sector is safe.
“It is a great honor for me to visit Arsal. This region is dear to the heart of Beqaa’s people. There is no doubt that it has suffered great deprivation, like the other regions, in particular Akkar. We will fix the situation by giving Arsal the rights it is entitled to as to health services. We will revitalize the medical centers,” Jabak said.
Jabak then announced that he had signed a decision to build a governmental hospital in Arsal. He concluded by saying that they would work with the International Red Cross and the International Humanitarian organizations to make up for this deprivation.
