Hasbani and Dabbousi Signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the MoPH and the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture - Tripoli
NNA- Tripoli – Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani and the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Tripoli & North Lebanon represented by its Chairman of the board of directors Toufic Dabbousi signed a “memorandum of understanding” leading to a partnership and collaboration between the chamber and the Ministry in order to provide health care and food safety.
This came during a visit from Hasbani to the chamber, where he met with Dabbousi and brought up different matters in the presence of two members from the board of directors Muhamad Abdel Rahman Obeid and Jean Sayed.

Hasbani started the meeting by congratulating the Chamber on “its work as to technology it is using in labs or its support to the national economy, not only in Tripoli but also at the national Lebanese level.”
“We are encouraging Mr. Dabbousi to pursue his activity that makes Tripoli “the economic capital of Lebanon”, we also support the initiative through the collaboration between private and public sectors to promote and modernize the economy,” Hasbani added.
“Today we are witnessing a concrete embodiment of practical steps reflected in signing protocols of understanding or honoring trainees and food inspectors for food safety in the region. The initiative has been included in the agenda of the council of Ministers that was scheduled to convene in Tripoli.”

In a statement Dabbousi thanked Minister Hasbani for his visit, the partnership and the protocol of collaboration he signed and noted that they are willing to pursue his path at the personal and official levels, and collaborate today with Minister Hasbani as they used to do with President Michel Aoun, the Premier Saad El-Hariri and Speaker Nabih Berri.
Certificates were handed out to trainees and food inspectors in the field of food safety in the presence of a large crowd.
