Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani received the UNICEF Lebanon Representative Ms. Tania Chapuisa in the presence of the Director General Dr. walid Ammar. The meeting discussed the collaboration between the two parties in general and the recent outbreak of measles in Lebanon, as well as the urgent need of money to ensure additional vaccines to respond to the increasing demand.
It was agreed to submit this request to the International Conference on Syria that will be held in Brussels and aims at supporting the Syrians in Syria and the neighboring countries, with the participation of Lebanon as one of the host countries.
