Fouad Maksoud Greeted by Hasbani at the Airport: Lebanon is a Main Source of Innovation
NNA – the airport. The Lebanese engineer Fouad Maksoud arrived at Beirut Rafiq Hariri International Airport after winning the Qatar Foundation-initiated TV show “Stars of Science” in its ninth season. The Lebanese engineer got the highest percentage of vote ever as he invented a device for patients with diabetes and severe burns that provides them with medicine without exposing them to the risk of inflammation or germs.
Maksoud was greeted at the airport by the communication advisor to the Lebanese President Michel Habis, Deputy Prime Minister Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani, Former Minister Nicolas Sahnaoui, his family, friends and AUB students.
Maksoud thanked the Lebanese President Michel Aoun for his support, as he considered him as his son from the first day of the competition, as well as Prime Minister Saad El-Hariri who backed him up.
He also thanked the Ministry of Public Health represented by Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani who has always showed support, as well as the Ministry of Telecommunications, Ogero, MTC and Alfa telecommunication companies, Former Minister Sahnoui, The AUB, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs which called every Lebanese around the world to vote for him.
