Deputy Prime Minister Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani started his visit to the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at the invitation of his Saudi counterpart Dr. Toufic Al-Rabiah. The two Ministers held a meeting during which they discussed the status of the Health sector and exchanged health strategies adopted in the two countries. They touched on the similarities between the strategies and the extent to which Lebanon and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia can cooperate and exchange expertise.

Hasbani met as well with Saudi officials. He is expected to carry out filed visits on Tuesday to a number of hospitals and healthcare centers in Saudi Arabia, among which King Fahad Medical City and King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre.
