Press Release Issued by the Media Office of the Minister of Health Concerning the Attack on Bhannes Hospital
 
The Information Office of Deputy Prime Minister Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani issued the following statement:

Deputy Prime Minister Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani followed the case of the attack on Bhannis Hospital and its medical staff by a group of people, after one citizen who was accidently shot by a bullet was rushed to the hospital. The bullet is believed to be fired by one person of this group.

Hasbani called the injured person’s family and checked on his health. He also called the Director of the Hospital who briefed him on details and checked on medical staff who has been attacked.

In this context, Health Minister stressed that the attack on hospitals and medical staff that serves and helps patients is absolutely unacceptable and is similar to the outlawed arms that Lebanese are paying for, and wishes that Security Forces arrest immediately attackers and refer them to the competent authorities.
