Deputy Prime Minister Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani examined this morning Arwan Pharmaceutical Industry in Jadra - Iqlim al-Kharroub where he was received by the Chairman of the Board of directors Engineer Abdul Razzak Youssef and the industry Director General Dr. Rouwaida Dham, the President of the Syndicate of Pharmaceutical Industries in Lebanon Carol Abi Karam, President of Jadra Municipality Father Joseph Qazzi, and a number of the Minister’s counselors and the employees of the industry.
Youssef presented a shield of “Love and respect” to Health Minister and another one to President of the Syndicate of Pharmaceutical Industries.
Hasbani then walked through the departments of the industry, and examined the ongoing procedures of pharmaceutical manufacturing.
At the end of his tour, Health Minister wrote a word on the industry’s guest book.
Hasbani examined also the “Lebanese serum product” factory in Chouwaifat, and listened to a presentation made by the factory’s administration concerning the advanced production methods that was granted a European certificate.
The visit included a tour in the departments of the factory.
Hasbani also visited Pharmadex factory in Jamhour and listened to a presentation made by the factory’s administration concerning the advanced production methods.
At the end of the tour, the Director of the factory Fahd Hakim presented a shield of honor to Minister Hasbani.
The tour concluded with a lunch to which Hasbani was invited and that was held in his honor by the Syndicate of Pharmaceutical Industries in Al- Sultan Ibrahim restaurant, Beirut. The members of the Syndicate were also present.
Minister Hasbani wished “Permanent success to all Lebanese factories and investors in the sector of pharmaceutical manufacturing that plays a major role in employment creation, economic development and investment attraction.”
