Healing the Healers – Supporting Yourself and Your Patients in the Aftermath of Conflict
The inaugural webinar from the 2025 first-quarter series, Healing the Healers – Supporting Yourself and Your Patients in the Aftermath of Conflict was held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
Organized under the partnership between the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), the Australian Lebanese Medical Association (ALMA), and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), along with the support of the International Lebanese Medical Association (ILMA) and founding director of the National Mental Health Program (NMHP) at the Ministry, this impactful session hosted three distinguished guest speakers that addressed the mental health challenges faced by Lebanon’s medical teams during the recent emergency response.
Through sharing practical strategies, updated studies and guidelines, and personal experiences tailored to the Lebanese medical community, this webinar offered valuable insights, enhancing the capability to overcome the mental health repercussions of conflict and supporting both personal and professional growth in that area among participants.
