يضيف العدو الإسرائيلي إلى السجل الحافل لإجرامه المتمادي جريمة حرب إضافية ضد رجال الإطفاء والاسعاف في جنوب لبنان مظهرا عنفا ولاإنسانية لا مثيل لهما، من خلال استهدافه أشخاصا يقومون بمهمات إنسانية وإنقاذية صرفة بعيدة كل البعد عما تتطلبه ميادين القتال.

فقد أدت غارة معادية همجية على مبنى اتحاد بلديات بنت جبيل في بلدة برعشيت إلى مجزرة بحق رجال إطفاء كانوا موجودين في المبنى استعدادا للانطلاق في مهماتهم الإنقاذية. وأدت الغارة في حصيلة أولية إلى استشهاد عشرة من رجال الإطفاء ولا يزال رفع الانقاض مستمرا من المبنى الذي تعرض لدمار كبير.
