استقبل وزير الصحة العامة الدكتور فراس الأبيض سفيرة الولايات المتحدة الأميركية في لبنان ليزا جونسون في زيارة بروتوكولية بعد استلامها مهامها في لبنان. ورافقها وفد ضم مديرة الوكالة الأميركية للتنمية الدولية في لبنان جولي ساوثفيلد وأعضاء من السفارة.

وتناول البحث الأوضاع الصحية في لبنان وجهوزية القطاع الصحي في مواجهات الأزمات. كما ناقش الأبيض مع جونسون الاستراتيجية الوطنية للصحة التي اطلقتها وزارة الصحة العامة قبل عام وشرح التقدم الحاصل في مجال تطبيقها.
