The MoPH Declares End of Cholera Outbreak in Lebanon

 
أعلن برنامج الطوارئ الصحية في وزارة الصحة العامة، "انتهاء فاشية الكوليرا في لبنان"، في بيان تفصيلي عرض تفاصيل الإجراءات التي تم اتخاذها لمكافحة الوباء وأثمرت عدم تسجيل أي حالة مؤكدة بالمرض منذ نهاية شباط الماضي". 

وفي ما يلي نص البيان: "لما كان لبنان قد شهد فاشية كوليرا استمرت لعدة أشهر قامت خلالها وزارة الصحة العامة وبتوجيهات مباشرة من معالي وزير الصحة  العامة بتوحيد الجهود والإجراءات اللازمة لمكافحة هذا الوباء بالتعاون مع جميع الفرقاء والوزارات المعنية لا سيما منظمة الصحة العالمية، منظمة اليونيسيف، المفوضية العليا للاجئين، المنظمة الدولية للهجرة والجمعية اللبنانية للأمراض الجرثومية وذلك من خلال:
  • تعريف الحالة المشتبهة والمؤكدة، ادارة الحالات وعلاجها
  • الترصد اليومي للحالات المشتبهة والمؤكدة المسجلة على الأراضي اللبنانية وتتبع المخالطين
  • تجهيز المستشفيات الحكومية لاستقبال الحالات  
  • متابعة مرضى الكوليرا المتواجدين داخل المستشفيات والتخلص من النفايات السائلة بالطرق الصحية السليمة
  • إجراء فحوصات دورية لمياه الشفة ومياه الإستخدام في أكثر من منطقة لبنانية
  • متابعة تقصي وجود جرثومة الكوليرا في الصرف الصحي في لبنان خاصة في المناطق التي سجلت أعلى نسبة اصابات
  •  التلقيح ضد مرض الكوليرا 
  • تنسيق الإستجابة للفاشية بين جميع الفرقاء والوزارات المعنية والمنظمات الدولية 
  • اجراء ندوات توعوية بالتعاون مع الصليب الأحمر اللبناني حول أساليب مكافحة المرض (تعقيم المياه والخضار والفاكهة بواسطة  الكلور، التخلص الصحي من النفايات السائلة...)
  • غيرها من النشاطات الأخرى مثل توفير الفحص المخبري السريع، الأمصال اللازمة للعلاج، المضادات الحيوية، الأسرة الخاصة  لمرضى الكوليرا.... 
 
وحيث إن هذه الجهود أثمرت عدم تسجيل أي حالة مؤكدة بمرض الكوليرا منذ نهاية شباط 2023، مما يعني انقضاء أكثر من 12 أسبوعًا على تسجيل آخر حالة مثبتة في لبنان،

ولما كانت منظمة الصحة العالمية توصي بإعلان انتهاء الفاشية بعد انقضاء 4 أسابيع على الأقل من تسجيل آخر حالة مؤكدة مخبريًا، وبناء على رأي اللجنة الوطنية للأمراض الإنتقالية،

تعلن وزارة الصحة العامة إنتهاء وباء الكوليرا في لبنان ابتداء من تاريخ إصدار هذا البيان علمًا أن الوزارة ستبقى تتابع ترصد الإسهالات المائية الحادة عن كثب عن طريق الترصد الناشط كما ستستمر الوزارة بتكثيف حملات التوعية ضد الإسهالات المائية الحادة  بالتعاون مع الفرقاء المعنيين لا سيما في المناطق الأكثرعرضة للإصابة.

 هذا وتشكر وزارة الصحة العامة جميع الوزارات والفرقاء والجهات المعنية لا سيما المنظمات الدولية التي شاركت ودعمت الوزارة خلال الفاشية مما انعكس إيجابًا على سرعة وفعالية الاستجابة"
