Abiad and World Bank Delegation Examine Projects Aimed at Promoting Healthcare Services

 
استقبل وزير الصحة في حكومة تصريف الاعمال الدكتور فراس الابيض، نائب رئيس البنك الدولي لشؤون منطقة الشرق الاوسط وشمال افريقيا فريد بلحاج، والمدير الاقليمي لدائرة الشرق الاوسط جان كريستوف كاريه، يرافقهما وفد من البنك الدولي في لبنان. 
 
واستعرض اللقاء الواقع الصحي في لبنان في هذه المرحلة، وآخر المستجدات المتعلقة بالمشاريع الحالية التي تقوم بها وزارة الصحة بالتعاون مع البنك الدولي. 
 
وتركز البحث على تحديد المشاريع التي تعتبر ذات أولوية، وتمويلها في السنة المالية الجديدة. واهمها تعزيز خدمات الرعاية الصحية الاولية، والمضي قدما في التحول الرقمي في القطاع الصحي، ودعم الاستشفاء. 
 
كما وتطرق النقاش الى الطلب الذي تقدمت به وزارتا الصحة والزراعة بالتعاون مع منظمة الصحة العالمية ومنظمة الاغذية والزراعة للامم المتحدة للاستفادة من مشروع البنك الدولي المتعلق بالتأهب للأوبئة والطوارىء الصحية والاستجابة السريعة لها.
