Minister Abiad Chairs a Meeting to Coordinate the Health Sector Response to Disasters and Earthquakes

 
عقد وزير الصحة في حكومة تصريف الاعمال، الدكتور فراس الابيض، اجتماعاً لتنسيق استجابة القطاع الصحي للكوارث الزلزالية والازمات. وضم الاجتماع رؤساء الدوائر المعنية في وزارة الصحة، ونقابة المستشفيات الخاصة، ونقابة الممرضين والممرضات، والصليب الاحمر اللبناني، وممثلي المنظمات الدولية التي تعنى بالقطاع الصحي، ممثل منظمة الصحة العالمية واليونيسف والمفوضية السامية لشؤون اللاجئين والمنظمة الدولية للهجرة ومكتب الأمم المتحدة لتنسيق الشؤون الانسانية. 

وهدف الاجتماع الى الاطلاع على وضع القطاع الصحي والمؤسسات الاستشفائية والكوادر الطبية العاملة فيها، ومدى جهوزيتها للاستجابة للكوارث والهزات الارضية، وتنسيق الجهود المبذولة من الشركاء المعنيين كافة وتوحيدها بهدف الاستعداد لأي طارىء وتأمين استجابة سريعة وفعالة، على ان يكون هناك اجتماع اسبوعي لمتابعة هذا الموضوع، وفق المكتب الاعلامي لوزير الصحة.
