The Moph Confirms that Medicine Has been Secured to the Child Zahraa

 
 أوضحت وزارة الصحة العامة تعقيبا على وفاة الطفلة زهراء، الآتي: "إن العقارب المتواجدة في لبنان بطبيعتها غير مهددة بمعظمها للحياة، ويلجأ الاطباء في لبنان عادة وبصورة فورية، الى معالجة العوارض الناتجة من اللدغة من تورم وألم أو تسمم، مما اعتبر علاجا ناجعا في جميع الحالات التي سجلت سابقا. وقد يتم اللجوء في حالات نادرة جدا الى ترياق خاص من بلدان أجنبية يتقاطع في فعاليته مع العقارب المتواجدة في منطقتنا الجغرافية".

أضافت: "ما حصل مع الطفلة أنه تم تأمين ترياق للعقارب من سوريا بمسعى من الاهل، وخمس جرعات من خلال تواصل وزارة الصحة العامة مع قوة اليونيفيل في الناقورة مشكورة، حيث من الجدير ذكره أن الدواء ضد لسعة العقارب غير مدرج منذ عقود على قائمة الأدوية التي يستوردها لبنان للاسباب الآنفة الذكر".

وختمت الوزارة متقدمة "بأحر التعازي من العائلة لخسارتها المؤلمة والفادحة"، وتمنت في الوقت نفسه على وسائل الإعلام ومختلف المتابعين "إستقصاء المعلومات الدقيقة قبل إطلاق استنتاجات خاطئة"، مشددة على المواطنين "عدم التأخر في التوجه الى المراكز الطبية، لأن التدخل الفوري في معالجة العوارض الناتجة من لسعة العقرب أو غيره أساسي في التماثل للشفاء بخاصة لدى الاطفال".
