Hasan and Moussa Brought up the Situation in Prisons as COVID-19 Cases Surge

 
بحث وزير الصحة العامة في حكومة تصريف الأعمال الدكتور حمد حسن مع رئيس لجنة حقوق الإنسان النائب ميشال موسى في أوضاع السجون بعد تزايد الإصابات بفيروس كورونا بين السجناء.

ولفت النائب موسى في تصريح إلى "ضرورة تخفيف الأزمة الموجودة نتيجة انتشار فيروس كورونا في السجون التي تعاني من اكتظاظ وظروف معيشية بالغة الصعوبة"، وقال:"اطلعني الوزير حسن على ما تقوم به وزارة الصحة العامة في هذا المجال، حيث يتركز العمل على تجهيز عدد من أسرة العناية الفائقة في أحد المستشفيات الحكومية في غضون عشرة أيام، إضافة إلى تحضير أسرة إضافية في مستشفيات أخرى، حكومية وخاصة. وأبلغني الوزير حسن أن اتفاقا جرى مع منظمة الصحة العالمية لمعالجة عدد من مصابي كورونا على نفقة المنظمة، على أن يكون لسجناء رومية المرضى حصة في هذا الاتفاق الذي يأتي من ضمن التدابير التي اتخذها وزير الصحة العامة لتحفيز المستشفيات على استقبال السجناء المرضى".
