Launching of Polio and Measles Vaccination Campaign in Akkar

 
نظمت وزارة الصحة العامة، وطبابة محافظة عكار حملة تلقيح ضد مرض الشلل والحصبة للأطفال من عمر 6 أشهر حتى 10 أعوام، من لبنانيين وغير لبنانيين، بجرعة إضافية من لقاح الحصبة بغض النظر عن الجرعات السابقة.

وقد بدأ انتشار مرض الحصبة في لبنان إعتبارا من النصف الثاني من العام 2018، بين الأطفال من الفئة العمرية أقل من سنة، ولغاية ال 10 سنوات، وتماشيا مع أهداف البرنامج الوطني للتحصين، وتوصيات منظمة الصحة العامة، لمكافحة مرض الحصبة وصولا للقضاء عليه بحلول العام 2025.

وتنفذ هذه الحملة من خلال مراكز الرعاية الصحية الأولية والمستوصفات والمدارس ودور الحضانة وتجمعات النازحين، وذلك بالتعاون مع الوزارات المعنية ومؤسسات القطاع الأهلي والجمعيات العلمية والمهنية، وبدعم من منظمتي الصحة واليونيسيف.

وكانت طبابة محافظة عكار قد أقامت دورة تدريبية للممرضين والعاملين الصحيين، ومدخلي المعلومات في قاعة مبنى عصام فارس البلدي في حلبا، حيث زودتهم بالمعدات والأجهزة واللوازم الضرورية لتلقيح الأطفال بطريقة علمية وآمنة .

وإنطلقت حملة التلقيح، في محافظة عكار صباح اليوم على أن تستمر لنهاية الشهر وتشمل جميع الأطفال في محافظة عكار.

وأكدت وزارة الصحة العامة أن اللقاحات آمنة ومضمونة الجودة وضرورية لتعزيز مناعة الأطفال ضد الأمراض الوبائية، وتحد من إنتشار الأوبئة، في المدارس والتجمعات السكنية وتحمي الأطفال الصغار، وذوي المناعة الضعيفة من إصابتهم من المرض .
