Jabak heads to Oman to take part in the meeting of the World Health Organization

 
توجه وزير الصحة في حكومة تصريف الأعمال دكتور جميل جبق إلى عُمان على رأس وفد من وزارة الصحة للمشاركة بفعاليات اعمال الاجتماع العالمي لمنظمة الصحة العالمية بشأن الأمراض غير السارية والصحة النفسية الذي تنظمه المنظمة في مركز المؤتمرات في مسقط، على أن يتم حفل الإفتتاح يوم غد برعاية صاحب السمو وزير التراث والثقافة في عمان هيثم بن طارق آل سعيد.
وسيلقي الوزير جبق كلمة لبنان في المؤتمر الذي يعتبر الإجتماع العالمي الأول في شأن الأمراض غير السارية منذ إعلان الأمم المتحدة لعام 2018 بشأن الأمراض غير السارية وإعلانها لعام 2019 بشأن التغطية الصحية الشاملة.
ويشارك في الاجتماع أكثر من 150 دولة، إضافة إلى ممثلين لمنظمات المجتمع المدني والقطاع الخاص والمؤسسات الخيرية والأوساط الأكاديمية والجهات المانحة. ومن أبرز النشاطات المواكبة للمؤتمر فعالية المشي تحت شعار "الصحة قول وعمل" في مجمع السلطان قابوس الرياضي، حيث يُعد الحدث الرياضي الأول من نوعه في الشرق الأوسط، بمشاركة مدير عام منظمة الصحة العالمية الدكتور تيدروس أدهانوم غيبريسوس وعدد من كبار المسؤولين في السلطنة وغيرهم من رؤساء الوفود وأعضائها.
