Feeding Infants and Young Children in Exceptional and Difficult Circumstances

In view of the economic crisis Lebanon is facing and the different initiatives to provide the individuals with assistance as to infant and young child feeding, the Ministry of Public Health and its partners recall the importance of following:

promoting and supporting breastfeeding and protecting the right of each mother and child to breastfeeding to ensure infants and new children enjoy optimal care
abiding by law No.47/2008 and the protection from the illegal marketing of breast milk substitute
