Decision of the Minister of Public Health: Banning of any Food Supplement Advertisement in the Mass Media

 
The Minister of Public Health Dr. Jamil Jabak issued a decision that bans all ads of food supplements on all audio-visual media and social media, under penalty of taking appropriate measures against those who violates the decision.
 
Article 1: Decision No.2207/1 of 18/12/2014 and 376/1 of 12/03/2019 on the regulation of the import of food supplements and energy drinks shall be amended and the following articles shall be added:
 
Article 2: the label of any food supplement should read the number and date of the license issued by the Ministry of Public Health to the manufacturer or importing company. This article shall come into effect three months after the publication of this decision.
 
Article 3: all ads of food supplements on all audio-visual media and social media are banned, under penalty of taking appropriate measures against those who violates the decision.
 
Article 4: this decision shall be communicated where needed.
