Jabak Meets with the Association of Child with Kidney Disease

 
A delegation of the Association of Child with Kidney disease headed by Pr. Chebel Mourani visited Minister of Public Health Dr. Jamil Jabak. The delegation included children with kidney failure who have special cases, since they need a heart or liver transplant with the kidney and high cost medicines that enable them to undergo a successful transplant surgery.

The association briefed on the problems encountered during the treatment of patients with kidney failure in general, in particular those of which cases require close follow-up and complicated surgeries.  Minister Jabak vowed to provide support for the exams patient need to have before and after the transplant process.  He also mentioned how many parents donated their organs to their children, stressing the importance of promoting the culture of organ donation in our society.
