منظمة الصحة العالمية تقدم ست سيارات جديدة لوحدة الترصد الوبائي في وزارة الصحة العامة

 
نظّمت وزارة الصحة العامة ومنظمة الصحة العالمية حفل تسليم ست سيارات جديدة من طراز رينو إكسبرس 2023 إلى وحدة الترصد الوبائي اليوم في مقر الوزارة بحضور وزير الصحة العامة الدكتور فراس الأبيض، ورئيسة وحدة الترصد الوبائي الدكتورة ندى غصن، وممثل منظمة الصحة العالمية في لبنان الدكتور عبد الناصر أبو بكر. وقدمت منظمة الصحة العالمية في لبنان هذه السيارات للمساعدة في تسهيل عمل فريق وحدة الطوارئ الصحية في الميدان في جميع أنحاء لبنان.

ورأى الوزير الأبيض ان هذه المركبات الست ستسهل عمل الترصد وتساهم بدعم وزارة الصحة العامة في تعزيز نظام الترصد للكشف والاستجابة في الوقت المناسب. وأشار الى ان شراكة قوية تربط وزارة الصحة العامة ومنظمة الصحة العالمية واعتبر ان هذا التعاون يحدث فرقًا مهماً في تحسين النظام الصحي العام في لبنان.

وقال الدكتور أبو بكر: "إن فريق وحدة الترصد الوبائي يعمل بجد ويستحق الدعم، وسنواصل دعمه كلما سنحت لنا الفرصة. فمن خلال وجود نظام ترصّد قوي، يمكننا الوقاية من الأمراض المعدية الناشئة ومكافحتها والمساهمة في القدرة الشاملة على التأهب للجوائح، مع تحقيق إحدى الركائز الأساسية لقدرات اللوائح الصحية الدولية الأساسية".

من جهتها، أشارت الدكتورة غصن إلى أهمية هذه المركبات في عمل فرق الترصد، وأكدت على أنه "من الضروري وجود وسيلة نقل موثوقة يمكنها تسهيل عمل الفرق من بيروت إلى المحافظات من الجنوب إلى الشمال، وتغطية البقاع وجبل لبنان أيضًا. وسيؤدي استخدام هذه المركبات إلى تسريع عملية جمع العينات خلال زيارات التحقق من الإنذار إلى الميدان".
