يهم إدارة مستشفى رفيق الحريري الجامعي أن توضح تفاصيل وفاة مواطنة في طوارئ الكورونا:

حضرت ظهر اليوم مريضة الى طوارئ الكورونا تبين لحظة وصولها أنها كانت تعاني من ضيق في التنفس وأن حالتها الصحية قد تدهورت فأجريت لها الإسعافات اللازمة من قبل الفريق الطبي والتمريضي ولكن المريضة فارقت الحياة بعد تعرضها لهبوط حاد في الدورة الدموية وتوقف القلب عن العمل.

وقد أظهر التشخيص أن المريضة كانت تعاني من قصور مزمن في عضلة القلب كما أظهرت صورة الطبقي المحوري للصدر (ST Scan) أنها لا تعاني من أي إلتهابات رئوية، وقد أجري لها فحص الكورونا الذي لن تصدر نتيجته قبل يوم غد للتثبت مما اذا كانت مصابة بفيروس الكورونا أم لا.
