ّطوّر البرنامج الوطني للصحة النفسية في وزارة الصحة العامة بدعم من منظمة الصحة العالمية الدليل العملي للإعلاميّين حول التغطية الإعلاميّة لمواضيع الصحّة النفسيّة واستخدام المواد المسبّبة للإدمان. صُمّم هذا الدليل ليستخدمه الصحفيّون والمراسلون والمذيعون ومقدّمو البرامج التلفزيونية والمدوّنون الناشطون على وسائل التواصل الإجتماعي وكتّاب السيناريوهات وغيرهم من الإعلاميّين. وقد تم تكييف الدّليل من الناحية الثقافية مع المشهد الإعلامي في لبنان، وذلك للإجابة عن الأسئلة المتعلّقة بموضوع الصحّة النفسيّة وإستخدام المواد المسبّبة للإدمان. تمّ إعداد الدليل استنادًا إلى نتائج المقابلات التي أُجريت مع بعض الإعلاميّين والتي هدفت الى معرفة إحتياجاتهم والتحديات التي يواجهونها عند تناول مواضيع تتعلّق بالصحّة النفسيّة وبإستخدام المواد المسبّبة للإدمان
